ROCK Fitness is a fitness staple in Astoria, New York. Over its 20 years in business, ROCK developed a tight knit community of New Yorkers who push themselves day in and day out. After 20 years, ROCK decided it was time for a rebrand; they hired Little Planet to get the job done.
ROCK’s visual identity was a thought provoking task of blending the old with the new. If you look closely, the ROCK diamond incorporates the letters R, O, C, K as well as the mountain peak from ROCK’s previous branding. The details are important.
Color and the Cortex. Color provokes human response; thus, it was important we selected the right color pallet for ROCK, inevitably affecting the way their clients perceive and respond to the brand. The result was a sunshine yellow and a midnight black.
The interior design process required acute attention to detail, mapping out wall by wall in order to influence the consumer experience throughout the gym. To do so, Little Planet worked closely with the building architect; measured walls; contracted a team of wrap specialists; designed, contracted, and installed custom LED and NEON signs; and even customized the equipment. Now ROCK’s clientele works out in a beautiful and inspiring ambiance.
Our team at Little Planet also produced creative content for ROCK Fitness, including advertisements, photoshoots and commercial videos. To do so, we relied on our team of photographers, cinematographers, directors, gaffers, and talent coordinators, right here at Little Planet.
The ROCK website is a culmination of all of the above, allowing for a stunning browsing experience.
